When we first decided to explore the possibility of a new website, we were a bit daunted at what seemed like an immense project. Our previous site (an iSite) consisted mostly of long blocks of text and a few hyperlinks. So we jumped at the opportunity to work with the iSites Migration team and learn more about OpenScholar, and we are immensely thankful that we did. The team members were god-sends. They alerted us to relevant trainings, kept us focused and on-track, and were always ready to help us think through questions of use, audience, and the best ways of presenting information. They also came up with a last-minute technical fix that really helped finish the site in time. As a result, our on-line presence has been transformed – and it’s made a huge difference to our colleagues and the students. We cannot thank them enough for their guidance, wisdom and support.
